Dr Marina Berbic completed her training across St Vincent’s, the Mater and Royal Prince Alfred Hospitals and is currently working in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Manly and Mona Vale Hospitals. In addition to completing Bachelor in Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery, she also holds a Bachelor of Medical Science, Masters in Reproductive Health and Human Genetics and a PhD (Med).

She has worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Neonatology at the University of Sydney and is currently a Conjoint Senior Lecturer at the University of New South Wales. She has strong clinical, academic and research background with over 40 peer-reviewed publications and numerous national and international conference presentations. She was a recipient of various scholarship awards and grants, including Australian Postgraduate Award, University of Sydney Dean’s Central Clinical School Scholarship and Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy Society (AGES) Research Grant.

Marina has a strong commitment to the field of Women’s Health and passion better understanding the underlying cellular mechanisms, as well as bringing new and innovative treatments into clinical practice. She understands that even the benign conditions can significantly impact on women’s physical and emotional wellbeing and she has commitment to helping women address these troublesome concerns and improve their quality of life.

Marina has lived on the Northern Beaches for most of her life. She is married with two children – Iris 13 and Noah 10. Outside work, she enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach playing tennis and skiing.
