I am a medical doctor from Italy where I graduated from the University of Perugia. Following graduation I worked in both Hospital and General Practice settings, going on to complete a postgraduate clinical training in General Surgery, Fellowship equivalent, during which I had the opportunity to spend a few months as a Registrar in London at the University College Hospital.
In August 2013 I moved to Australia, where I started my PhD in Neuroscience, which I completed and graduated in December 2017. Following the PhD completion I have worked as a Research Officer and Lecturer until 2018. My research in Neuroscience has been published and presented internationally.
Since gaining the medical registration through the Medical Board of Australia, I have worked in a variety of clinical areas, in both metro and rural settings, where I spent time in Medical and Surgical Disciplines, as well as in the Emergency Department. More recently I have been working in Mental Health and General Practice. My professional philosophy is putting the most effort into reaching the best clinical outcomes for my patients, and doing so by combining best clinical practice with the requirements and expectations from my patients and their loved ones.
I have a natural predisposition and deep passion for health and beauty, and in all activities that can implement the body general wellbeing. I do believe that in order to achieve the best results, the individuals should be treated following a holistic approach, to enhance their confidence and natural beauty, by creating the natural equilibrium and physiological balance between body and mind.
When not working or studying, I enjoy scuba diving, travelling, motorbike riding, reading, watching movies and cooking.
